Ouzi is a traditional Middle Eastern recipe made of lamb and rice and wrapped in phyllo pastry.



- 400g of lamb meat

- 2 cups of cooked rice

- 200g of boiled peas

- 100g almonds

- Salt & pepper

- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

- 100g pines

- 1 packet of phyllo pastry



- Put some olive oil in a frying pan

- Add meat and stir well

- Add salt and pepper

- Add boiled peas

- Add rice in a plate and mix it with meat and peas mixture then add cinnamon, roasted pines and almonds

- Mix them well

- Brush a small plate with oil and put phyllo pastry, then add rice and meat mixture

- Close the phyllo pastry as shown in the video and put them in a tray

- Brush Ouzi with oil and add almond on top

- Bake in oven for 10 minutes at 180 C or until it is golden

- Enjoy
